As families and their kids gathered they also wished farewell to coordinator Kush Burke and thanked her for her 10 years of running the group.
Ms Burke joined when her youngest was less than a year old and has seen her four sons through the playgroup over the years.
"When I took over, it was just a couple of families who had been running it. I didn't want to see it close as it was well developed at that stage and had a cupboard full of toys already," Ms Burke said.
Ms Burke said over the years they have had up and down battles with memberships, especially following recent years that brought hardships to the community, be it the fires or COVID-19.
"I've seen a lot of families come and go over the years and made some wonderful friends and my kids have made friends that I think they'll have for the rest of their lives," she said.
