Movie Under the Stars this year will feature 2020 Australian comedy-drama film RAMS which has been directed by Jeremy Sims, written by Jules Duncan, and starring Sam Neill and Michael Caton. The annual fundraising event for the BDCU Goulburn Hospital Fundraising Inc will be held on Saturday, February 13 at Kingsdale Winery on Crookwell Road from 5.30pm. A spokesperson said that they are excited to hold the event after cancellation of two of the major fundraising events - 'Mile of Pennies' and fun run 'Run Goulburn Run' - due to Covid-19 restrictions. READ ALSO: April Hélène-Horton on billboard featuring plus-size model The evening event consists of a glass of wine or soft drink on arrival, a three-course gourmet pizza meal followed by the movie screening. The movie is about brothers Colin and Les who have been fighting for decades. Both are award-winning sheep farmers but when disaster strikes and disease threatens their flocks, will they be able to work together to save their sheep, their legacy, and their community? "Bring your chair and blanket to comfortably enjoy the evening with dinner while taking in the sunset over Sooley Dam followed by the movie under the night sky. Wine sales are available on site, no BYO," a spokesperson for BDCU Goulburn Hospital Fundraising Inc said. Last year's event was an outstanding success with all tickets sold and perfect weather conditions. Purchase your tickets early so not to miss on a great night out." Bus transport is available leaving from the Workers Club car park at 6pm for a gold coin donation, returning after the movie. A Covid-19 Safety Plan is in place for the event with all required safety measures applicable. Gates will open at 5:30pm to allow for Covid-19 registration of all patrons attending. Since it's inception 11 years ago, the BDCU Goulburn Hospital Fundraising Committee Inc has nearly raised a total of $400,000 for items for patient care and comfort. Tickets for the event can be purchased at a cost of $55 from the BDCU at 175 Auburn Street or online here.
