More than 100 runners have nominated for the seven race meet expected to go ahead in soft conditions after consistent downpours soaked the coast over the weekend and into Tuesday with showers expected to continue.
By Monday the track was already rated at a soft 7, but conditions could just make it a strong day out for the wet weather specialists.
The venue is limited to 500 patrons including members, owners and the public who must enter through the main entry. All entrants must register at the gate for contact tracing.
The bar will be open, but food and alcohol can only be consumed while seated.
Gates open at 12.30pm with racegoers encouraged to take a picnic rug or chair, food is also welcome.
