Catherine will be giving a presentation on services available to those of us who may have hearing problems, or living with someone who does.
The meeting will be held at the usual venue of Merimbula RSL Club at 11.30am for a 12 noon lunch.
Visitors are always welcome to join the ladies of View with bookings and cancellations made by ringing Jan Fox on 64950744 by Wednesday, July 10. Birth stone and colour theme for the month is ruby red, so ladies add a touch of red to your outfits.
The club's main fund raising event held recently was, despite low numbers, very much enjoyed by all who attended.
Funds raised at the event will go towards assisting the five students we sponsor through The Smith Family's educational programs, to take advantage of their education.
At our meeting on August 9 we will be celebrating our 22nd birthday with a Chinese banquet and entertainment will be provided by Merimbula Public School's recorder group.
Other upcoming events are Eden View's Christmas in July on Monday, July 22 and the View National Convention to be held on the Sunshine Coast between September, 13-15 this year.
Could those ladies who have been making items for the "Yarn Bombing" being organised by the Old Schoolhouse Museum, please bring them along on Friday or if you will not be at the meeting, please let Danielle have them before the end of July.
RSL sub-Branch
The Merimbula RSL sub-Branch will be holding their monthly meeting on Monday 15th July starting at 2pm.
Members are asked to attend and visiting sub-Branch members are also welcome to come along.
Art Group
The July meeting of the Merimbula Arts Group takes place this Saturday, July 13 at the Merimbula RSL Club commencing at 2pm. There will be a painting demonstration by Sally Wilson who has a gallery at Cobargo.
Sally paints in many styles, this time she will be painting abstract. This should be a very interesting and enjoyable meeting to which the Arts Group is inviting members and visitors to come along.
