He recruited the region’s finest – Andy O’Donnell, Gary Carson Jones. Pol O’Shea, Dave Crowden and Ken Vatcher – and The Stumblin’ Wilburys emerged. The chemistry was immediate and so was the audience reaction.
The songs of George Harrison, Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne are classics and so are the Travelling Wilburys’ hits.
Fast forward to 2018 and the group is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a huge show this Friday, October 26, at Club Sapphire!
Special guest Alice Weibe will open the show, then the Stumblin’ Wilburys will be playing what may be their final show – hence the title “The End of the Line”. There are no plans for future shows, however “we never say never”!
