At 10.55am, four ambulances and a rescue helicopter were dispatched to attend to the unconscious man.
NSW Ambulance said he was transported to Merimbula Airport and airlifted by helicopter to Canberra Hospital with a “serious head injury and abrasions to the face”.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
