Lumen Christi staff and students welcomed visitors at the entrance to the college where they were taken for tours around the school to view facilities and see classes operating as usual.
During the lunch break, talented students took to the stage to perform in Lumen’s Got Talent heats in front of an eager crowd. Art students displayed their work proudly including a mosaic exhibition in the schools lightwell titled “The Extraordinary in the Everyday”. Design and technology students demonstrated their practical skills and science students performed a range of experiments.
A panel of student leaders were interviewed by principal Steve Centra in front of prospective parents and students during an information session earlier in the day. The students were asked about their experiences of the college including subject selection, community service, and opportunities in sport and the arts. This was an opportunity for students to highlight the features of the college.
