A variety of vendors and bubbly personalities set up for the day and created the perfect atmosphere to spark wedding ideas on Sunday, May 6.
The Historic Grange in South Pambula was beautified by glorious weather, creative stalls and displays set by catering businesses, beauty and fashion businesses wedding planners and more.
Sapphire Coast Weddings and Events were pleased to host over 300 people throughout the day, showcasing the local wedding industry.
Carla Ellwood of CC Bridal said “as the first wedding fair that Sapphire Coast Weddings and Events has hosted our expectations exceeded.”
“We were thrilled with the turnout and also how amazing all of the vendors were, their displays were creative and interesting and everyone I spoke to seemed to really enjoy it.
“All of the businesses involved were so generous, they went above and beyond. The goodie bags that the brides received had amazing discount vouchers and free samples,” she said.
The Bridal and lingerie fashion parade started the afternoon with a bang. Local ladies strutted elegantly down the catwalk showing off tasteful pieces from CC Bridal and Brief Affairs.
Future brides and their wedding posse took notes as they sat sipping their complimentary champagne’s. Eyes were fixated on the fashion that flashed around the room during the parades.
At 1pm, the mother of the bride parade showcased outfits from Koko Maia of Merimbula and Eve of Pambula followed by a dazzling display of men’s formal wear from Swannies Merimbula.
Model’s hair on the day was styled by Trendsetter Hair Studio Tura Beach, Flower crowns designed by Whitby’s Florist and Makeup by Lisa Jane Makeup and Ally Maree Makeup.
Vendors are already lined up to take part in next year’s wedding fair which has plans to double in size at a new location.
