The division one Knights tallied up a whopping 255 runs for just six wickets in their 40-over stint before dismissing the Bermagui side all-out for 119.
Meanwhile, the Pambula Bluedogs top grade outfit suffered a convincing loss to the South Eurobodalla combine at Dalmeny.
On their home turf, the Knights were indomitable in their match up as Lawson paired with Brendan Daley to belt a scorching early target.
Daley notched up 58 before he was bowled by Liam Cooper, then third in at the crease Patrick Whittard joined the scoring frenzy to card 49 runs for his efforts after he was caught off the bowling of Cooper.
A few handy wickets gave Bermagui a glimmer of hope, but a solid knock of 23 not out by Merimbula’s Ash Postance locked in the challenging target.
Cooper turned his efforts to the bat, hitting 30 for Bermagui before he was run out, but Casey Jack provided the best stint at the crease, clocking 40 runs.
Despite the pair’s efforts, wickets were falling cheaply and Bermagui was soon bungled out for just 119.
At Dalmeny the Bluedogs mustered a modest target of just 91 runs as the Pirates unleashed their bowling attack.
Charlie Shepherd had the team’s best with a good 37-run stand.
Unfortunately the hosts claimed a sweep of four ducks and the Pambula batting order fell over for the meagre sum.
However, the Bluedogs operated well with the ball and were holding onto hope after dismissing the top order for just 21 combined runs.
Their chances were crushed as Simon Mackie made fairly short work of the target though, batting at four to slog a 48-run-haul.
The Pirates took just over 16 overs to reel in the target and wrap up the win for 94 runs with six wickets in hand.
This weekend, the Bluedogs will look for redemption when they host the Sea Eagles at the Pambula Sporting Complex. The Knights travel to Eden to play Eden with both matches running Saturday from 1pm.
