The notices warn that people should remain on established roads, trails and walking tracks and within established picnic and camping areas and that domestic animals should be restrained on a leash or in a vehicle.
A spokeswoman for Forestry Corporation said wild dogs require constant vigilance to manage and that sightings had been reported.
“Unfortunately, suitable weather conditions have meant that wild dogs have recently had a successful breeding season. We recognise the distress wild dogs can cause landholders and carry out dog control programs in collaboration with neighbours,” the spokeswoman said.
