Chair of the Geographical Names Board, Des Mooney said Bega Valley Shire Council is
proposing to amend address boundaries to expand the locality of South Pambula.
“Council has confirmed the amendment will impact some properties in Griegs Flat located
on the east side of the Princes Highway,” Mr Mooney said.
“Under the proposed boundary amendment, the affected properties in Griegs Flat would
become residential addresses in South Pambula.
“The Geographical Names Board is encouraging community comment before it considers
adopting Council’s proposal.”
Residents are invited to view the proposed boundary amendment and lodge submissions
with the Geographical Names Board by Monday 8th September 2014.

Centre 43 Oliver Avenue, Goonellabah and the Lismore City Library 110 Magellan Street,
Lismore” Mr Mooney said.
The closing date for submissions is Monday 8th September 2014.
