Between 400 and 500 people packed into the Pambula Merimbula Golf Club on Monday lunchtime to enjoy the Jazz Hatters Party, with six bands, a barbecue by the Pambula Rotary Club, raffles and a chance to win prizes for the best hat.

The Jazz Hatters Party is a new addition to the Jazz Festival program replacing the jazz picnic as an indoor event, open to everyone and proved very popular.
General manager of the Pambula Merimbula Golf Club, Michelle Vernon said the event went very well and was so much smoother for everyone as it had been decided previously that it would be an indoor event.
President of the Jazz Festival committee, Bruce Munchenberg said he was very pleased with the party which continued in full swing until 4pm.
