If you only attend one event this racing season, it's got to be the highly anticipated Pambula Cup.

Coinciding with the renowned Golden Slipper Day, the Pambula Cup is your best opportunity to be part of the electric racing spirit.

"It's going to be a big event on the racing calendar, and a great day for locals to get out and enjoy the atmosphere," said Robert Tweedie, CEO of the Sapphire Coast Turf Club.

So that you don't miss out on any of the action, there will be big screens broadcasting the Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide races.

Meanwhile, six local races will take place live at the Sapphire Coast Turf Club's spectacular venue.

Located on a picturesque 300 acre site, it is one of the newest and most modern country racecourses in NSW, with great spectator facilities.

Patrons can enjoy an unobstructed view of the racing action from most parts of the course, including the members, reserve and function centre, and from the large, banked lawn areas.

"On the day there will be face painting for the kids, and the fashions on the field competition," Mr Tweedie said.

Attendees can also make the most of the bars and kiosk.

"Pambula Cup is a long-standing event on the calendar and is supported by a lot of local businesses," Mr Tweedie said.

"It always draws a strong crowd and is a great, exciting day."

To really indulge in the experience, get in early to claim your reserved seating package which includes entry, reserved seating, two drinks tickets, and a racebook for $55 per person.

On the day, take advantage of the free bus service which picks patrons up from Eden, Pambula, Merimbula, Tura Beach, Bega, and Tathra.

The 2024 Pambula Cup Race Day takes place Saturday, March 23, with gates open from 12.30pm.
