Police have released images of a man they say was involved in unlawful activity at large pro-Palestinian protests where flares were let off at the Sydney Opera House.

Strike Force Mealing has been set up to track down individuals police say were involved in the violence, where flares were lit and anti-Semitic chants heard as protesters crowded the Opera House forecourt.
Police released images of a man they are seeking, described as having a medium to heavy build with short dark hair and a beard.
He was wearing glasses at the time, and dressed in a black hooded jacket, grey pants, black shoes, and a black and white scarf.

About 6000 people demonstrated peacefully in Sydney's CBD on Sunday in solidarity with Palestine over the recent conflict in the Middle East.
The demonstrations were attended by families and heard from a range of speakers, with no arrests made.
The NSW Premier Chris Minns and police had called for the demonstrators to show restraint.
The organisers have declared their intention to apply for a permit for a march through the Sydney CBD next weekend.
Mr Minns said he was working with police to ensure the safety of the public was upheld.
"There is a right to protest in NSW but there's also a right to be free from vilification or racism, and they are fundamental principles that need to be upheld," he said.
"That's the only way frankly, in a multicultural, multi-faith community for us to respectfully engage with one another.
"I'm not going to allow us a situation where we have seen scenes of what was undeniably racist language, (and) incitement to violence in New South Wales."
