Police are investigating following a house fire near Merimbula.

About 4am on Sunday, May 23, emergency services were called to Stringybark Place, Millingandi, near Merimbula, following reports of a fire.
Fire and Rescue and Rural Fire Service attended and extinguished the blaze.
Police said that the home, which was under renovation at the time, was extensively damaged.
The sole occupant - a 34-year-old man - was not injured.
"The cause of the fire is yet to be determined; however, it is being treated as suspicious," a NSW Police spokesperson said.
