Police are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery at a Merimbula service station.

About 10pm on Monday, June 22, an unknown man attended the Metco service station on Dunns Lane, Merimbula. police said.
It's alleged he produced a knife and demanded cash and cigarettes from the male employee, before he fled on foot. He was last seen running towards Ocean Drive.
Officers from South Coast Police District arrived at the scene shortly after and established a crime scene.
No one was injured during the incident.
As inquiries continue, detectives would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged between 18 and 25, and wearing dark clothing at the time of the incident.
Investigators are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Inquiries are continuing.
