Acting District Court judge Megan Latham sentenced Trevor Michael Savage in Sydney's Downing Centre on February 7 to a non-parole period of 19 months for the possession of child abuse material, and nine months in prison for disseminating child abuse material.
Savage was arrested in September 2017 following a police search of his home. Electrical devices seized during the search have been forfeited to the Crown.
Savage received a 25 per cent discount due to his guilty plea, and will be released on parole on December 6, 2021.
