The club will host races for the Merimbula Jazz Festival on Sunday and officials said it was exciting as one of their few race meets across the cooler months.
Race promoter Jess Ryan said there would be all the usual fanfare including a free jumping castle for the kids and fashions on the field.
She said the theme for the day would be a "masquerade ball" and encouraged everyone to jazz up in a favourite outfit with some excpetional prizes up for grabs.
On the course there will be plenty of entertainment too, with a full TAB seven race card that is sure to attract a large number of visiting trainers.
Secretary-manager Rob Tweedie said the nominations would be finalised by Tuesday, but expected some strong interest.
With more than $20,000 in prizes up for grabs in each race there is plenty at stake for trainers and jockeys on the day.
Ms Ryan said businesses could also get some huge exposure with just 30-odd tickets left in the major raffle.
Tickets are limited to 100 and cost $100 each with the winner to have an ad posted above the finishing post for a full year - about 86 races across 12 race days.
You also win 20 reserved seats and 40 drinks tickets at one of those meets. contact the club for tickets.
There will be free buses to and from the club on the day with pick up and drop off times available at www.sapphirecoastturfclub.com.au.
Gates open at 11.45am, the club is located on Sapphire Coast Drive.
