A large audience settled in for an afternoon of Christmas and festive music with the opportunity to join in with a number of popular carols and a holiday sing-along.
Under the baton of David Quinlan the band performed several pieces and accompanied solo tenor Paul Dion as he sang Panis Angelicus, which was arranged by Mr Quinlan for the band.
Spirit Allegro conducted by David Francis sung carols from around the world with an emphasis on the traditional. Their songs after the interval included an Australian carol entitled The Three Drovers and an African carol.
