A mobile service centre is visiting the Bega Valley Shire to offer access to essential government services including Centrelink, Medicare and Child Support.

The 20 tonne mid-range rigid truck called the Golden Wattle has specialist staff from the Department of Human Services on board to help with a range of services, including lodging Centrelink claims, Medicare registrations, providing access to online services and offering free hearing checks on board.
Customers at the Wallaga Lake visit on Wednesday July, 25 will be able to speak with a social worker and an Indigenous Service Officer.
Information about Department of Veterans’ Affairs programs and support services for veterans and their families will also be available.
The Mobile Service Centre will visit:
Nimmitabel – Tuesday, July 17 from 9am to 11am, located at Lake Williams car park, Monaro Highway.
Delegate – Tuesday, July 17 from 1:30pm to 4:00pm, located near the post office, Bombala Street.
Bombala – Wednesday, July 18 from 9am to 3:30pm, located at the swimming pool car park, Therry Street.
Eden – Thursday, July 19 from 9am to 4pm, located at the Tourist Information Centre car park, Mitchell Street.
Pambula – Friday,July 20 from 9am to 4pm, located opposite the Royal Willows Hotel, Quondola Street.
Merimbula – Monday, July 23 from 9am to 3:30pm, located near the Information Centre, Beach Street.
Bermagui – Tuesday, July 24 from 9am to 4pm, located near Dickinson Park, off Lamont Street.
Wallaga Lake – Wednesday, July 25 from 9am to 3:30pm, located near the Land Council Building, Umbarra Road.
