All ears were open to Linda McGuire who read a variety of entertaining picture books before winding up for Hickory Dickory Dash – written by Tony Wilson and illustrated by Laura Wood.

At 11am sharp, the book was read and giggles filled the room followed by some arts and crafts which finished off the morning. 

The annual event organised by the Australian Library and Information Association completed its 18th successful year, aiming to encourage young Australians to read and enjoy books.
