Evening View
Adeleine Perret was the International Women's Day guest speaker for Merimbula Evening View Club who told of her experiences working for the Smith Family Learning for Life students in WA's Port Headland area.
Students received lots of encouragement to attend school when they received library bags from the Perth View Club, note books and pencils, and lots of musical activities presented by Addy, who is a member of the Wobbles Ukulele Band.
Addy also demonstrated and explained the MEM (Music Evokes Memories for those with Dementia) program, which is proving very successful in the Bega Valley thanks to the support of various sponsors.
Merimbula Evening VIEW members Joyce McGill and president Kerry Lewis presented Adeleine with an appreciation certificate and potted cyclamen.
