Road Safety Education Limited (RSE), providers of the RYDA program, hold these Excellence in Road Safety Education awards to recognise and celebrate those in our community who work tirelessly to provide the RYDA program, and in turn, contribute so much in saving young lives.
Mr Peter Simpson from BOC, founding sponsor of the program, said “Eric got involved with the program back in 2007 when he put his hand up to run RYDA in Bega”.
“In the past ten years, Eric has run RYDA every year at the Sapphire Coast Kart Track, and to date over 4500 local students have attended RYDA,” Mr Simpson said.
“Along with his involvement in the RYDA program in Bega, Eric has also been instrumental in helping RYDA in the Eurobodalla area and this year, to re-establish RYDA in Canberra.”
