Far South Coast Writers
The Writers of the Far South Coast recently had a workshop with Melissa Pouliot. The workshop, titled, How to get Buzz for your Book Launch, was very well received by attendees, with all the writers agreeing that it was extremely informative and entertaining. "Thank you for offering this opportunity to meet and learn from Melissa,” Kerrin said. “Her insights and generosity in suggestions around establishing my brand and in networking as well as publicising the finished products provided such a wealth of heads up.” All the writers said they were glad to have had the opportunity to work with Melissa and look forward to her book launch.

HOSPITAL AUXILIARY
Planning for refurbishment of Pambula Hospital is continuing. Plans are ready for approval, and we are hoping work will commence on schedule, providing more facilities for health care at Pambula. Meanwhile we are still meeting in the building adjacent to the former Sunshine Centre while adjustments are implemented. Some of our members were busy during the month preparing for a stall at the former Bega Hospital on July 15. This was a shared fundraiser with Bega and Tathra Auxiliaries. Pambula members appreciate the invitation to share in the proceeds from the sale of furniture from the old hospital, and the chance to have a stall, as this was out of our territory. Members are reminded that our General Meeting on July 26 begins at 9.30am, followed by the AGM, at 11am. All welcome.
