If you are ready to adopt, then there are several gorgeous cats and dogs like Zilly on the adoption list or you can put your name down on the waiting list.
Inquiries can be made through Animal Welfare League Far South Coast NSW on 0400 372 609.
Cats and kittens available through the Sapphire Coast RSPCA can be seen on the branch’s Facebook page.
Adoption fees are subsidised for cats and dogs adopted through RSPCA or AWLNSW and all are de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and vet checked before adoption so that the hard work is taken care of.
Contact AWL at awlfsc@bigpond.com or call 0400 372 609; and RSPCA on 0419 267 799.
July is National Desexing Month so if you know of anyone who still hasn’t had their pets de-sexed, encourage them to do so before the next breeding season in August/September so we can stop the cycle of breeding and overpopulation.
GARAGE SALE: Thank you to everyone who supported The Animal Welfare League NSW Far South Coast volunteers branch garage sale at Tathra Hall last Saturday. With your help the branch raised around $2000 to put towards the care of animals in the Bega Valley Shire.
