Bega Valley Shire Council installed the path recently as part of it continuing to trial ways of improving beach access in the Shire.
It’s now about a year since the East Coast Low hit and washed away much of the access path installed at Pambula Beach last May.
Boards recovered from the washed away path have been put to use at Main Beach Merimbula, making it easier for wheeled access onto the foreshore area.
This means wheeled access to the foreshore is now possible in both Merimbula and Pambula.
