Pet of the Week
Animal Welfare League NSW Far South Coast Branch had another great week of re-homings with Ozzie, Peppi, Midgey and Bruno all finding homes. There are still several dogs waiting urgently to come into care with AWL through the Bega Valley Shire Companion Animal Facility as well as through private sources but they cannot be taken in as there are no available carers. If you have been considering becoming a carer call 0400372609.

There are a large variety of dog breeds of different ages all in need of homes. Also available is Gemmima (pictured) a very friendly year old great natured cat. She is good with dogs, children and other cats. She is available, along with several cats and kittens through RSPCA (enquiries to 0400 372 609).
In a joint effort between Animal Welfare League NSW Far South Coast Branch and RSPCA are asking for desperately needed supplies of kitten milk and food to support the huge number of abandoned kittens that are in care. Donations can be deposited into our food bins at Woolworths in Bermagui, Tura and Merimbula or Coles Bega and Eden.
