To acknowledge his long service, Bugs was presented with a certificate and a $300 gift voucher which he can spend anywhere around town.
Bugs has been with the Club through amalgamation, de-amalgamation, renovations and all other manner of changes, but maintains that his years working at Club Sapphire have been “fantastic.”
“I’ve seen them come, and I’ve seen them go,” he says. “It’s a good Club… very fair to work for.”
CEO Damien Foley said Bugs’ time with the Club has not gone unappreciated. He is one of the venue’s most familiar faces, and his warmth and sense of humour is appreciated by patrons and co-workers alike.
Bugs was also the winner of the Club Sapphire Excellence Awards’ Annual Teamwork Award.
The Board, management and staff at Club Sapphire wish to thank Bugs for his years of loyal service, and look forward to many more.
