Tura Bunnings rejected
All very well to say Bega is the major regional centre, but Eden is 50km from Bega. At least Tura Beach/Merimbula has a central type of feel to it. And much nicer place to shop.

Makes me so angry, just let them build it there. What is so wrong with it being there across the road from Woollies? Makes it good for people who want to do their shopping and go to the hardware store.

Bega is the obvious choice. It's the regional centre with correctly zoned land and other national retailers nearby.

I’m all for Bunnings coming to the area, but would you want it in your back yard as that would be the view for the poor people that live at the retirement village.

I live there and truly it's fine as it is. I don't see the need of taking the speed limit down. As a child I walk on the roads and ride every day and not a day goes by where I get bothered by speeding cars!

All over NSW the flow of traffic is being slowed and hampered instead of spending the money to improve the roads. Of course with rego now pushing $1000 a year you can understand the government being so short of funds.......not.
