This Saturday night, August 6, at Club Sapphire local rock ‘n’ roll band The Shadoogies will set your toes tapping for rock and roll and social Latin dancing and during their breaks there will also be New Vogue dance music.
The lead singer Matt Kimber is a popular local vocalist and is sure to impress.
The night begins at 7.30pm when local New Vogue dancers promise to teach any newcomers a dance. If they fail to teach you a dance they promise to refund the $10 entry fee. Anyone who like to have a go at New Vogue, with or without a partner, is welcome.
The band will start at 8.30pm and anyone from 16 and up will enjoy them.
At a recent rock and roll festival weekend they compared more than favourably with the two top line city bands also featuring for that weekend.
The Shadoogies will be playing at Club Sapphire on Saturday, August 6. There will be an hour to learn a dance from 7.30pm with the band taking the stage at 8.30pm.
