Ski resort owners will be breathing a sigh of relief with the forecast of good snow in the next couple of days.
Independent weather forecaster, Dennis Luke said he expected snow to arrive over Thursday and Friday and again at the end of the month.
“I am expecting about 1 metre of snow across all resorts,” Mr Luke said on Wednesday but he cautioned snow bunnies to take advantage of the white stuff while it was there.
“After that I’m really not seeing anything until the end of July and for much of July temperatures are likely to be above average, so this weekend and next are looking good for the snow,” Mr Luke said.
The Bureau of Meteorology is predicting a maximum temperature of 14 degrees for Merimbula and Bega on Saturday and just 12 degrees for Eden on Saturday.
