An excellent field of 75 players teed off to play a stableford last Tuesday at the Tura Beach golf course.
Division one winner was Darren Hampton with 41 points on a count-back from runner-up Michael Arnaudon, who also had 41 points.
Arnaudon was congratulated for his hole-in-one on the ninth, while Darrin Hampton scored an eagle on the 11th.
Division two winner was Chris Kunz with 39 points from runner-up Tony Fullerton on 37.
Tony Haywood topped division three from runner-up Stan Burns and Burns also scored an eagle on the fourth.
Balls went to 33 on a count-back.
Saturday saw players contest a four-ball best-ball part off the blue markers and the top three teams qualified for the district final to be held at Tura on August 8.
The three teams to qualify were, Chris Rootsey and Jamie Ackling with plus 8, Gary Trease and Andrew Watkins with plus 7 and Henry Schubert and Tony Austin with plus 6 on a count-back.
Balls went to plus four.
