Aitken was on hand to congratulate the young players, who picked up awards that he himself earned not too many years ago with the club.
Presentations were made to teams from the under 7s right through to the under 16s after a good year for the club.
Aitken commended the club’s under 16s, who claimed the premiership against Bega.
The club also won the crown in 2011 when Aitken was the captain of the junior side.
Mum Jill Overend said it was a highlight finish for Aitken before joining the Dragons the following year.
