BVRG curator, Iain Dawson said, this film is Hitchcock's romantic story of obsession, manipulation and fear.
“A detective is forced to retire after his fear of heights causes the death of a fellow officer and the girl he was hired to follow.
“He sees a double of the girl, causing him to transform her image onto the dead girl's body. This leads into a cycle of madness and lies.
“Starring James Stewart and Kim Novak the film is regarded as one of the greatest of all time,” Iain said.
“You'll love our signature BVRG dinner, wine and movie package for $20.”
All funds raised will go towards purchasing new works for the BVRG permanent collection.
The dinner and film is on Thursday, July 30 at 6pm in the Bega Valley Regional Gallery. Cost is $20 or $15 for Members of the BVRG.
