The diver is passed into the care of paramedics before being airlifted.
The Snowy Hydro SouthCare Rescue Helicopter has landed at an Eden sports oval to airlift the diver to hospital. It is understood the diver was free diving in about 12 metres of water off Eden when he experienced difficulties.

He was found motionless on the ocean floor.
He is understood to have stopped breathing when brought to the surface.
CPR was commenced for some time while a 000 call was made.
The diver, showing signs of life, was then placed in the recovery position, where he remained until Eden Water Police arrived.
