A man has been charged with attempting to murder three police officers north of Brisbane after crashing into their patrol van two months ago.

Detectives allege a ute driven by the 28-year-old deliberately crashed head-on into a responding police vehicle, seriously injuring the officers.
Police will allege the driver was trying to flee the scene of a stabbing in Caboolture South when he crashed into the emergency vehicle in the same suburb on March 12.
The man has been charged with three counts of attempted murder, two counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, unlawful wounding and disqualified driving.
He is expected to face Caboolture Magistrates Court via video link from his hospital bed on Tuesday.
The 37-year-old male senior constable driving the police vehicle is still receiving treatment, while two constables involved in the crash have returned to duty.
