The workshops will teach kids and adults how to use Aerial Silks and Hoops, taught by international circus artist and Aerial Yoga instructor Stah Power.
The kids workshops will run for two hours and is targeted at youth aged seven to seventeen year old, the workshops will be run on January 5, 6, 7, 10 and 12.
There will only be one session for adults on the Saturday January 8 and it will run for one hour.
In this workshop adults will be partaking in Aerial yoga and Aerial hooping.
"We invert on silk hammocks at the end of the class, which is very good for decompressing the spine area," Ms Power said.
"Yoga is really good for flexibility, core strength and balance," she said.
People taking part will learn to Invert, Balance, Climb, Spin and Twizzle on the various aerial apparatus, building physical and emotional stamina, trust and confidence.
"In the two hour workshops for youth we'll do warm ups and then get straight into the aerial hoops, where we learn to hang upside down by our knees," Ms Power said.
Bookings for the workshops can be made online at: https://www.zerocentralcircus.com.au/.
Tricks taught by international circus artist of 25 years
The workshops will be run by international circus artist Stah Power.
Ms Power has been performing circus and cabaret for 25 years and most of her years and gigs were spent abroad.
She has performed in numerous prestigious acts and festivals including the Edinburgh festival, Spiegeltent at Sydney Festival and Glastonbury Festival, to name a few.
These days having moved back to Australia, Ms Power has decided to focus on teaching her skills to others and building up confidence in kids to give circus tricks a go.
"I love teaching, it's really great to pass on these skills and the kids love hanging upside down and spinning around," she said.
The workshops will be held out of the events centre in Oaklands, set up with equipment to keep safe.
"We do it with nice big crash mats and good meeting points and proper equipment. So we minimize any any risk of injury and they have a great time, they're always buzzed up when they leave," she said.

Sunny from the Little London Pop Up Chop Shop and Oaklands owner Barry Moffitt eager to create activities for youth
Ms Power said she was grateful to Sunny from the Little London Pop Up Chop Shop in Oaklands and Oaklands owner Barry Moffitt for "generously providing the space for us to this."
"Their motivation to do this has come off the back of a difficult couple of years, where there hasn't been a lot happening in the performing arts or in the general community due to bushfires and COVID-19," Ms Power said.
Ms Power said these workshops couldn't have happened without their support or motivation.
Little London Pop Up Chop Shop owner, Sunny said she and Barry Moffitt thought they'd try to bring about workshops like these to bring entertainment and activities to kids in the Bega Valley.
"We're hoping to bring some creative fun and enjoyments to the area, a lot pf people say there's very little for kids to do during the holidays so we thought we could change that," Sunny said.
"The circus workshops is just a wonderful opportunity for kids," she said.
