Of the three new cases in Jindabyne in the Snowy Monaro Region, two are under investigation and one is linked to a known case.
There were also three new cases recorded in the Queanbeyan Palerang LGA - two are in Bungendore and one is in Googong. The Googong case was acquired overseas and the Bungendore cases are under investigation.
This brings the total cases in SNSWLHD to 561 since the start of the current outbreak in June.
Meanwhile, SNSWLHD reported it would no longer be issuing daily COVID-19 media releases. New cases and LGA case tallies will continue to be shared after 11am each day on the SNSWLHD Facebook page.
A media release will be issued if there is new or urgent public health information to share with the community.
