More than 4500 COVID-19 tests were conducted in the Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) in the past week, which comprises the Eurobodalla, Goulburn, Queanbeyan, Cooma and Bega Valley Shires.

But with sewage detections of the virus in Moruya, Eden, Yass and Jindabyne in the last few days, the community was reminded to keep getting tested even with the mildest of symptoms.
From Monday, September 6 to Sunday, September 12, 4680 tests were conducted, the majority of which were at the Cooma clinic with 1760 tests.
The Moruya clinic conducted 534 tests, 37 of which were on Sunday after the sewage detections were announced.
In Bega, the South East Regional Hospital conducted 795 tests with an additional 102 at the Pambula pop-up clinic and 45 at the Bombala clinic.
A SNSWLHD spokesperson said the pop-up clinic at Hanging Rock in Batemans Bay had been "quiet for the last few days".
"Hanging Rock [testing] will run today (Monday, September 13), then re-evaluate ongoing operations," the spokesperson said.
