All sides have now played 12 matches after Merimbula-Pambula forfeited this Wednesday's planned catch-up game against the Moruya Sharks.
Here's how the ladder currently stands, and who has the best shot of playing in the finals.
1. Merimbula-Pambula Bulldogs, 18 points, +129 PD
Games to come: vs. Bombala, @ Eden
Merimbula-Pambula have the inside track to the minor premiership even with this week's forfeit. They should get the job done against Bombala this weekend, and then have a trip to last-placed Eden in the final round.
Prediction: 1st place on 22 points.
2. Narooma Devils, 18 points, +106 PD
Games to come: @ Batemans Bay, vs. Bega
The Devils were on top of the ladder until their loss to the Moruya Sharks in their last start. Batemans Bay have been much tougher at home than on the road, and the final game against Bega could determine whether the Devils finish in the Top 2.
Prediction: 3rd place on 20 points.
3. Cooma Stallions, 16 points, +176 PD
Games to come: @ Snowy River, vs Tathra
Cooma started the season on fire with seven straight wins, but have gone 1-4 over their past five games. If they can beat Snowy River this weekend, they're in, but they may face a very nervous end of the season if they can't get the points.
Predictions: 4th place on 18 points
4. Moruya Sharks, 16 points, +132 PD
Games to come: vs. Eden, vs. Batemans Bay
The Sharks did themselves a big favour last weekend with a win over Bombala in a catch-up game. They jumped from outside the Top 5, and now have a very real shot at finishing in the Top 2 with two home games to finish the season.
Prediction: 2nd place on 20 points
5. Tathra Sea Eagles, 14 points, +131 PD
Games to come: @ Bega, @ Cooma
A very tough finish to the season for the reigning premiers, with a road game against their arch-rivals in Bega and a tough trip up to Cooma. If they can win one of those games, they should have done enough.
Prediction: 5th place on 16 points
6. Bombala Blue Heelers, 14 points, +1 PD
Games to come: @ Merimbula-Pambula, vs. Snowy River
The Blue Heelers have fought really hard this season, but their points differential suggest they're a step below the rest of the Top 7. They'll probably need to upset Merimbula-Pambula to get in.
Prediction: 6th place on 16 points.
7. Bega Roosters, 13 points, +43 PD
Games to come: vs. Tathra, @ Narooma
It'll be odd to see a finals series without the Roosters, but they're currently at the longest odds to finish in the Top 5. They'd need to win both games to have a chance, and they wouldn't be favoured to win either of them.
Prediction: 7th place on 15 points.
8. Batemans Bay Tigers, 7 points, -50 PD
Games to come: vs. Narooma, @ Moruya
Two local derbies to finish the season for the Tigers, who can't go any higher than eight spot. They'll be left to rue a few close matches earlier in the season.
Prediction: 8th place on 7 points
9. Snowy River Bears, 2 points, -270 PD
Games to come: vs. Cooma, @ Bombala
It's been a tough return to first grade for Snowy River, but they certainly haven't embarrassed themselves this season. This weekend's local derby against Cooma should get their players and fans fired up.
Prediction: 9th place on 2 points
10. Eden Tigers, 2 points, -398 PD
Games to come: @ Moruya, vs. Merimbula-Pambula
It's been a very hard season for this proud club, and games against the likely Top 2 to end the season doesn't make it any easier. Should be back stronger in 2022.
Prediction: 10th place on 2 points.
Final Ladder prediction:
- Merimbula-Pambula Bulldogs, 22 points
- Moruya Sharks, 20 points
- Narooma Devils, 20 points
- Cooma Stallions, 18 points

- Bombala Blue Heelers, 16 points
- Bega Roosters, 15 points
- Batemans Bay Tigers, 7 points
