The Merimbula-Pambula Bulldogs were scheduled to play a catch-up game against the Moruya Sharks on Wednesday night at Ack Weyman Oval.
However, the club said it was making the decision to forfeit the clash based on player welfare.
The technical-loss will have no bearing on the Bulldogs' placement at the top of the competition table and will provide the club a key opportunity to rest niggling injuries following a wet weather bye over the weekend.
Just two rounds remain in the home and away season with the Bulldogs now facing forward to their showdown with the Bombala Blue Heelers this Saturday at 'The Dogpound'.
The Blue Heelers are currently sixth, but a win could see them pressuring for a top four finish with one week left on the calendar.
The final round in two weeks' will see the Bulldogs taking on the injury-laden Eden Tigers, who are currently languishing at the bottom of the table.
