Merve is looking for a new home

Merve is a little shy but fond of affection and human company.

Merve - aged between one and two - is a gentle male cat who is patiently waiting in care for his forever home.

He is constantly seeking out the company of his carer so he would be a good companion cat for a quiet household. He came from an outdoor setting but seems to be very content indoors and this appears to be due to his desire for company and affection. He will need to be the only cat.

We feel that he may not suit a household with dogs as he came from a situation with a lot of farm dogs who stressed him.

He is initially shy but responds well to TLC. Cost $150. There are also about 15 kittens available at present in all colours. All animals available through AWLNSW are microchipped, de-sexed, vaccinated, wormed, flea and tick treated. Their adoption fee is subsidised in the hope that rescue pets will be peoples first choice and that eventually we will be able to stop unwanted litters.

Please note that potential dog owners will need to have secure "dog proof" fencing and suitability to the needs of the animal. You can view available animals on the face-book page www.facebook.com/AnimalWelfareLeagueFarSouthCoastBranch but you will need to call Animal Welfare League FSC Branch on 0400372609 to enquire about any of the many cats, kittens, dogs and pups available for adoption.
