The Grasshoppers had the bye in first grade, and will go to this weekend fresh and still in control of the leaderboard with a four-point buffer from the Penguins in second.
In reserve grade, Tathra United caused an upset of sorts when they were able to hold the undefeated Bega Devils to a draw at the Tathra Beach Country Club. While Tathra could not finish any scoring options and an energetic defensive display from the hosts limited the Devils' chances, finishing at 0-0.
In other reserve grade matches, the Penguins suffered a 1-0 loss to the Bemboka Braves at Colombo Park on Sunday, while play in Mallacoota was abandoned given border regulations.
The Penguins suffered a loss, but contained the ladder-leading Eden Killer Whales to a 1-0 result, which is Eden's lowest scoring result this season.
Wolumla bounced back from a surprise loss to Mallacoota last week to record a 4-1 win over the Bega-Tathra Stingrays.
The competition heads to round 11 this weekend.
