Merimbula residents and travellers from Melbourne are urged to be on the lookout for COVID-19 symptoms after the Brunetti cafe at the Melbourne Airport was named a Tier 1 exposure site.

The cafe is located in the Terminal 4 building used by Regional Express (Rex) for their Melbourne to Merimbula flight schedule.
Victoria's Department of Health announced Friday morning that a positive case visited Brunetti on Tuesday, February 9.
Both NSW Health and the Victorian Health Department are calling on anyone who was at Melbourne Airport, Terminal 4 from 4.45am until 2pm on February 9 to immediately isolate, get tested and remain in isolation for 14 days since you were there, regardless of the test result.
Tuesday, February 9, included a scheduled Rex flight from Melbourne to Merimbula, 10.40am departure for a 12pm arrival.
Out of an abundance of caution, NSW Health is asking anyone who is a household contact of someone who visited Terminal 4 on 9 February at the above time to stay in isolation until that person receives a negative result.
In addition, anyone who attended any terminal at Melbourne Airport on February 7 and 8 must immediately get tested and isolate until a negative result is received.
NSW Health is currently contacting approximately 7,000 people who have entered NSW from Victoria after attending these venues of concern, to ensure they are aware of the requirements.
The Brunetti cafe is the latest to be added to a list of potential exposure sites through Victoria.

If you have visited an exposure site lately, but not in the specified time, continue to monitor for symptoms. Isolate and get a coronavirus test if symptoms develop.
As of Friday morning, there are 19 active cases of COVID in Victoria. NSW has not recorded any new locally acquired cases over the past fortnight.
Since February 4, all air and rail travellers arriving in NSW from Victoria have been required to fill out a passenger declaration form which includes confirmation of whether they have visited any venues of concern. This information is important for helping NSW contact travellers.
