Then on Sunday, the Bluedogs came painfully close to running down a massive target set by the Black Cockatoos.

Kameruka bats Roland Jones-Whittem and Martin Butchers built a staggering partnership as Jones-Whittem belted his way to 138 and Butchers 85 for the innings.

The Black Cockatoos finished on 2/274.

While the Bluedogs dropped a few more wickets, they closed in on just 20 runs shy of the target at 8/254 after Harry McAlpin provided some heroics with a 120 run knock.
