Last Wednesday the ladies at Tura Beach played a 4 person ambrose for the club's annual Pink Day to raise money for women with breast cancer. golfers and carts had a pink flair for the day.

The winners on the day were Heidemarie Sterry, Di Mercieca, Liz McErlain and Carlene Ramsay with a net score of 63.38. Runners-up were Lesley Merry, Vicki Dempsey,Joe Kitchenside and Elizabeth Frauenfelder with 63.50.
In the Tura men's golf, Saturday was a stableford off the blue tees where only a few braved play in one grade. Murray Crooks was the winner with 36 points on a count back from Bernie Russell, also on 36 points.
Meanwhile Tuesday's competition was well contested for a stableford off the white tees. Andrew Watkins was the winner in A grade with 37 points, ahead of Rob Staite on 35 points. In B grade, David Shaw won with 37 points ahead of Murray Dakin on 36 points. In C grade Dennis Valentine won with 37 points ahead of Murray Crooks on 36 points.
