NSW Police historic photo of the NSW-Victorian border closure 101 years ago

NSW Police have shared some interesting photos of the NSW-Victorian border road blocks near Delegate from the past and the present.

The old photo was taken over 100 years ago during the Spanish Flu pandemic of 1918 on the border near Delegate.

The second photo was taken this week of the road block at the same location.

According the NSW Police Facebook post both photos feature members of the NSW Police Force and Australian Defence Force (ADF)' manning the road block.

"When times get tough, we come together to keep you safe," the Facebook post says.

Thanks goes out to all the front line workers and those behind the scene who are putting their safety on the line to keep us safe from COVID-19.
