Chamber president Michelle Pettigrove said the aim is to attract visitors from Wollongong, Illawarra and Canberra, all of whom have easy access to the area.
"On the Valentine's Day weekend - February 14-16, Pambula will explode with passion in a three-day event designed to showcase our amazing coastal location, our diverse boutique businesses and our talented and resilient locals," Ms Pettigrove said.
On The Friday evening, February 14 thereShare the Love Pambula will run from 5pm - 8pm as a street party celebrating all that is Pambula including late-night shopping, live entertainment, buskers, street art, stalls, food vans and lots of fun activities for the kids,. It will be very much in the style the Pambula's successful Village Vibes Christmas shopping night.
On Saturday Ms Pettigrove is encouraging visitors to visit a beach, enjoy the cafes and restaurants, shop, play golf or visit Love at the Races, the Sapphire Coast Turf Club's inaugural Pambula Cup Race Day.
In the evening there is a 'Show your love for the Firies' fundraiser at the Top Pub and the Hoops will be playing 50s rock 'n' roll.
Ms Pettigrove suggests that on Sunday visitors take their Valentine on an oyster tour and drive along the coast to support one of our neighbouring towns.
"This is a family-friendly weekend with specials, deals and prizes and great opportunities are available to everyone all weekend. Visitors will receive further details of these deals in a welcome pack on arrival at participating accommodation, or visit Pambula Village facebook and instagram pages," Ms Pettigrove said.
