Main organiser Elsa Booysen of Albert Moore Gardens said she was very pleased with the result.
"Our Roaring 20s Ball was a roaring success," Ms Booysen said.
"Everyone enjoyed it very much and there was good collaboration with all the nursing homes in the area.
"There were lots of people dancing, staff dancing with those in wheelchairs and one gentleman dancing with his daughter which was pretty special," Ms Booyson said.
The residents enjoyed lunch and music from members of the Sapphire Coast Jazz Band lead by Paul Dion in keeping with the Roaring 20s theme. Many residents and staff took the opportunity to dress up and later enjoyed afternoon tea provided by Club Sapphire.
"I also want to thank Lumen Christi art class students who did the wall decorations for us," Ms Booysen added.
"It was a really lovely event."
