A man has been charged after allegedly deliberately lighting several fires south of Eden.

Police said about 12pm on Wednesday, November 27 emergency services were called to several spot fires in bushland around Scrubby Creek, Narrabarba.
A man, who had allegedly been seen lighting the fires, was detained by a nearby forestry worker and police were notified.
Officers from South Coast Police District attended and arrested the Victorian man.
The 33-year-old was taken to Eden Police Station where he was charged with intentionally cause fire and be reckless as to its spread.
He was refused bail and is due to appear at Batemans Bay Local Court on Thursday, November 28.
